Hi,
I don’t know the answer but perhaps the printer’s power supply board outputs should be checked first to make sure that they’re all there and that they are OK as usually the power supply board is the first thing affected by accidental over voltage connections.
Also the board should be inspected for any obvious damage etc.
-The board has a high voltage output and two low voltage outputs, 3.3V DC and 24V DC output. Perhaps one of these may be faulty.
+The board has two low voltage outputs, a 3.3V DC and a 24V DC output. Perhaps one of these may be faulty.
Also the error code of 85.04 is unusual as it does not appear in the [https://www.asedirectsupport.com/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article/GetAttachment/126/126|troubleshooting manual] (this is a direct download link). There are no 85.xx codes, the highest code is 79.xx
Also here’s a link to the [https://www.laserpros.com/img/manuals/hp-manuals/hp-clj-m452-m477-repair-manual.pdf|repair manual] for the printer which may help if you want to access the boards to do any testing etc.
