Finally fixed mine. Read somewhere updating the built in ssd to a Samsung with certain firmware A0d or A12 can’t recall exact number fixed it.

tried a 512gb adata unit Compatible with a 2014 model and no issues since. Original drive was a 256gb from Apple. [br]

not had any power saving issues either.
