in China, we have a Wechat group and there are over 400 group members have the same issue, whose MBP models covering from 2016 to 2018. We've already contacted the Apple and some consumer-protection agencies, and it doesn't work. Apple just refuses to admit their design and manufacturing flaw! We need to sign for the petition (search recall 2017 macbook on change.org) and require Apple to recall the defective products or agree to repair the display for free!
