randomly makes the power on and off sound, but doesnt power on

So my 360 has started to make the weird sound of like im hitting the eject button or the power button when its plugged in. I dont have many gaming hours on it *probably less than 200 total if im honest, prob less than 100* and im not sure what could be causing this to happen. Someone said the ribbon cable but not which one.
