Ice maker arm freezing up

I have a whirlpool side-by-side refrigerator and I noticed about every three days that the icemaker will stop making ice and when I look inside the arm is frozen and I have to knock the ice off the

arm in order for it to start working again. Anybody notice this happen with theirs or have a solution to fix it?
