Lower blade housing for 1973 shredder,vacuum,bagger

Replaced the lower shredder blade on my 1973 Craftsman vacuum,shredder,bagger. Unfortunately when i went to put it together again, and started it up, the top of blades hittting bottom of deck. Im looking for owners manual, or a diagram of how its supposed to go under there, i did something wrong and dont see anything exccept the bladses sitting lower on the shafrt
