I took apart the attachments -- small and large head of vacuum. The large head had hair wrapped around inner wheels and a lot of pet hair jammed inside different parts of the head. Once I cleaned it thoroughly it worked fine! Saved me buying a battery and/or a new vacuum! Spent nothing. First, see if any parts on your vacuum are obstructed. Obviously, in my case, that caused the vacuum to shut off after running for just seconds. So far, problem fixed. I watched a You-Tube video that showed how to step-by-step take the vacuum heads apart.
