Does the audio seem scratchy when listen to it using headphones plugged into the headphone jack of the laptop?
If not perhaps the laptop speakers are faulty and need to be replaced.

Go to p.34 to view the pre-requisite steps and then the procedure to remove/replace the speakers.
Replacement speakers are available online. search for ''917060-001'' to find suppliers that suit you best.
