Inner cover open error, cover is definitely closed

My Pro-10 is reporting the inner door (used for printing CDs) open, and will not print. The internet is relatively silent on fixes other than (1) power cycling the device or (2) seeking repair if in warranty. Mine is not.

Looking for advice on resetting the sensor, or if it can be wedged closed, etc.
