iPad still not responding after battery change

Hi! I just swapped the battery out in our iPad 6 thanks to the excellent tools and guide on iFixit. However, it's still not responding at all including when plugged into Macs (multiple) or using different leads. [br]

Any sensible suggestions of what to try next? [br]
[br]
It's out of warranty and I doubt Apple would touch now that I've opened it up.[br]
