Hi! I ordered an iFixIt battery replacement kit for my macbook. The battery is old (I have the service battery warning) and doesn't hold charge very well. The iFixIt instructions said I should fully discharge the battery before going through with the replacement process. But my battery is sometimes at 90% and it just turns off as if it was out of charge. Sometimes I can discharge until 60% until it shuts off. But I'm worried about this extra charge being dangerous. Can someone please advise me on how to fully discharge my battery so I can safely proceed with the battery replacement? Thank you!

Sorry that I didn't specify: it's a Macbook Pro 2015 Retina 15".
