Hi @venkya20813,
The flickering may be the LCD screen's LED backlighting changing in intensity i.e. dimmer/brighter due to voltage fluctuations in the backlight power i.e. intermittent loose or high resistance connection (internal to the display or external to the display) or a problem with the LED backlights themselves.
-Try connecting an external monitor (TV?) to the laptop and check if the flickering occurs on it as well.
+Try connecting an external monitor (TV?) to the laptop's HDMI port and check if the flickering occurs on it as well.
''If it doesn't,'' then when the laptop's display is flickering, try moving the laptop's lid, ''very slowly,'' back and forth to see if you can make the flickering stop.
''If you can stop it when it occurs'' then there may be a problem with the EDP (video) cable. Either a loose connection (either end, motherboard or LCD screen) or it is damaged where it passes through the hinge to get to the lid from the motherboard.
''If you can't stop it when it occurs,'' then there's a problem with the LCD panel and it will have to be replaced.

Hi @venkya20813

Try connecting an external monitor (TV?) to the laptop and check if the flickering occurs on it as well.

''If not'' when the laptop's display is flickering, try moving the laptop's lid, ''very slowly,'' back and forth to see if you can make the flickering stop.

''If you can stop it when it occurs'' then there may be a problem with the EDP (video) cable. Either a loose connection (either end, motherboard or LCD screen) or damaged where it passes through the hinge to get to the lid from the motherboard.

If you can't stop it when it occurs, then there's a problem with the LCD panel and it will have to be replaced.
