This isn't a smartarse answer.
We bought our Fisher & Paykel top loader 25 August 2007. The "shock absorbers and supports needed replacing in 2020 (actually we had been putting up with the unbalanced banging for quite a while, so the breakdown could have been a couple of years before this).
We replaced the straps and suspension kit in 2020.
Now in October 2024 we need to replace them again.
Happy to do it if it means that we avoid spending hundreds of dollars on a new washing machine.
