-I have had this happen once before and with the use of a microscope & tweezers I successfully managed to clip back in the connecting flap, they are very fragile and easily break as you know.... but if this has broken or is lost then the only real alternative to secure it fully again would be to replace the whole connector itself which would require a microscope and the necessary tools / equipment (Tweezers & a steady gentle hand) to position it properly. There is a video with a 'quick fix' for a [link|https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WO56KJOHywM|Broken Missing Latch] that provides a temporary solution. If you are able to take out the logic board yourself and take it to a local electronic repair shop they should be able to replace either the whole part or just the latch providing you can source the correct part for it for a small cost as it would take only a few minutes of their time, MUCH cheaper than if they had to diagnose any issue, take the unit apart, re-assemble etc.... or DIY and risk breaking the part again.
