Hi @jackybruce87936
If you mean that the laptop's power adapter port (aka DC-In jack) is faulty and needs replacing here's some information that will help.
The [https://www.aliexpress.com/i/1005001270438412.html|DC-In jack] (example only to show the part) is hard mounted on the systemboard. Search online for [https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-d&q=Dell+Latitude+D610+dc-in+jack|Dell Latitude D610 DC-In jack] to find suppliers that suit yo ubest. (examples only)
The systemboard will need to be removed from the laptop so that the connector can be unsoldered from the board and a new one soldered in its place.
Here's the [https://dl.dell.com/manuals/all-products/esuprt_laptop/esuprt_latitude_laptop/latitude-d610_service%20manual_en-us.pdf|service manual] for the laptop. Go to p.35 (of 47 pdf) to view the procedure to remove/replace the systemboard.
Here's a [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6q8avuyaZxg|video] that also shows how to remove the systemboard if you prefer seeing what's involved
