My MacBook does not read from hard drive
hi i have a macbook pro i have to use external drive to store my info becouse my mac doesnt access the its own hard drive

Try starting up from your system installation disk. Insert the disk and hold down the "C". If it boots OK, go to the second screen pull down menu to Utilities > Disk Utility and see if the hard drive can be repaired. If it can't be repaired, replace it.
