2 Playstation 3 won't stay on?
My sister left my PS3 on for over a month on pause. After I turned it off, it refuses to stay on for more then a couple of seconds.

Might be a heat issue... If its the old model (non-slim) PS3 then it may just need to be cleaned out with a can of air. Also check to see if the fan is working, when you turn the power on check to see if you feel any air coming out the back of the system. Hope this helps.

I have the same problem. When I attempt to turn it on the green light comes on and the fan starts. It immediately turns off with a flashing red light. Pressing the off for a few seconds will again make the red light go solid.
My PS3 slim does the same thing. Turns on then a few seconds later it turns off with no light at all. Any solutions?

I have a similar issue. When I turn on the system on, I hear a beeping sound and then the system shuts down right away. Nothing has a chance to show up on the tv. It is an older system (first generation). Does it pay to try and repair this or buy a "new" system.
