this morning my iphone 4 screen went completely black, i pugged it in and it is connecting to charge and ringing when i phone it and connecting to the computer ok but i cant use it because the screen is completely black. help?!

Cheryl, try to reset your phone. Hold the sleep/wake button at the top right and the home button at the same time. Keep holding until the screen go black. Sometime you have to keep holding even after the red power off slider appears. If it does, just keep holding it. Once the Apple logo appears let go of the buttons, your phone should now reboot. Always make sure that you back up your phone promptly so as to minimize any loss of important data. After you back it up you could also try a restore. Hope this helps, good luck.
