my screen craked and i want to know how i can fix it myself and how to find the screen cheap... i went to places and they wanted to charge me 100-130 just for the screen... also how do i know what generation my ipod is i just bought it last december im sure i still have waranty but dont know if it covers cracked screens...

ive, yes you can fix it yourself. It is not always easy, so make sure that you check the guides carefully. You can find the guides on here. In order to identify your iPod check with Apple on here. The other thing that you can do is to check your numbers on the back of your case. Usually a Google search will reveal what model it is or go here and type in your serial number. the price for the display etc. will of course depend on ywhat model you have.
