The screen did not display
dell laptop core 2. the screen did not display sometime they will be different color stroll down the screen, how can i fix that someone told me that the screen as damage.

Its a bad screen. This series have a couple screens that were duds. its present in a clients E6400.

First try using it with an external monitor by connecting via VGA cable, if it works fine in such way then the problem is surely with your LCD connecting cable. However you can first try to locate if there is any lose contact of on board connectors which shall might help.
Otherwise you can order new screen online and replace it by following some online tutorials.

It is possible that your LCD is failing i.e. bad TAB etc. Try an external monitor and see if it displays without difficulty.

That means that your backlight is not working. It is possible that it is a failed CCFL. It might help if you tell us which laptop you have.
