iPod froze to the Apple Logo

Hi, I've been reading all the problems here. But i believe my problem is unique (i guess). To give you a brief story, i was listening to my iPod, then im gonna change a song, before i press the play button it got stuck. I tried to reset the iPod. The problem begins. The iPod reset but froze to the Apple Logo. I can here something like when ur cd player is spinning. its like for a couple of seconds. I went to Apple Center and they told me to connect my iPod to my laptop. But to no avail, no response.

I tried the Disk Mode and connect my iPod. The iTunes apps read my iPod. And i can see all my songs and videos. So my music and videos are still intact. Unfortunately, when i disconnected my iPod. The problems occurs again. I dont want to restore the factory setting first. I dont want to lose my music and videos. That would be the last resort.

When i open my iPod, there's a clicking sound (like resetting) and it stuck to the Apple Logo. I think, every 30 seconds or so the iPod resets on its own.

I dont know what to do. Actually im not bothered on the iPod. Im bothered to lose my 16k songs and videos.

I am desperate. My iPod is my stress reliever.
