I purchased a Kenmore front-load HE washer Model C4804. When I press the start button, the panel lights up but it wont start. It keeps going to "Pause". Can anyone please help.

Try unplugging it for five minutes to allow it to reset, then plug it in and give it a try.
User Control and Display Board

The warranty has expired. I unplugged it and tried starting it again but with the same results. The model number is 970-C480420 and the serial number is 4C12005189.

Marie, any chance you still have warranty on your washer? What are the serial numbers and the model number of your washer?
