I dropped my iphone 4s and the screen cracked also the battery cover cracked too. The phone will not turn on now tried resetting and plugging it in. I've changed screens before but i don't know if it is worth changing if the problem is major.

Our company buys back broken LCDs assemblies and phones from repair shops. We've been through thousands of iPhones with this issue.
My gut feeling is you have about a 75% chance that it's a bad LCD digitizer assembly and a 25% chance that the connector on the board is bad or other board related problem.
Humm... actually thinking, you wouldn't want to try the screen first. You say it wont power on. First thing is to make sure the battery connector is still connected to the board. You can see this fairly easily by removing the back cover (but be careful and read how to do so first)
For "free" you should check that and maybe it will cut on and just have a cracked screen.
Does the phone make any sound or show any signs of life? Anything show up when you plug the charger into the phone?
...if no signs of life (sound, vibrate etc, assuming that the phone has enough battery to juice up) ...you probably have an issue non related to the broken LCD screen but could have both.
If you have it charged or can charge and can feel vibrate when you hit the switch or head sounds or calls with no display, then it's the LCD.

i can not see anything on my screen but when i plugged it in, it vibrated once.
I dropped my phone last night. It is an iPhone 5c. When I picked it up the screen was totally busted and it was also glitching. Now it has a red light near the earpiece and won't turn on at all. It only turns on a black light. What can I do to repair it? It is brand new
I dropped my phone 2 months ago and the cracks were very minor. But last week near the home button, the glass fell off and you could see the black part of the phone. I got up in the middle of the night and it was working perfectly. I got up in the morning and it didn't turn on. There was no sound, no vibration, no light, not even when you charge it. Please help me how do I repair it!

Hi Daniellesounds like you have busted the lcd and the screens for samsung arnt cheap..
i've dropped my iphone 5c ithas cracked a little but there's a black screen and i've tried pressing the home button and lock button together but that doesnt work either .....what should i do???

I cracked my iphone 5 screen and you cannot see the battery sign i can hear it vibrate when i charge it & also unlock the phone but the brightness is extremely low i put it all the way up but it still really soft what can i do i went to apple and they said they can fix the screen for $129 no way someone please help me :( .

Cody, what did it end up being? I've done the same except only broken the back. I've ordered a repair kit to replace the back panel. I'm hoping the battery connection is jarred loose. Were you able to resuscitate your phone?

I don't know how to fix my phone I've tried everything but nothing seems to work. I think I have a very unique problem. My phone is cracked and when I turn it on, light shows through the cracks and a weird glitch looking thing shows on the top right corner of the screen. I can still hear the buzzing from if I get a text or if I turn the ringer off or on. I've tried everything, but nothing seems to work, or is not the problem that I have. I don't know what to do and I don't want to spend a lot of money on get it repaired. What do I do?????

I have those same problem like amy my phone is plugged in but it only vibrated once and I have a iPhone 7
