Why can I only turn off my Dsi when is charging?

I have DSI and it has 2 problems.

The first one is that the battery cant get fully charged, and it last only about 30min-1h.

The second one is that my dsi only turns off when connected to a charger.

What can i do to fix that?

It's not an answer... Unfortunately.

I have the same problem and never saw this question...

'My' Nintendo DSi doesn't turn off unless is charging...

It's annoying not being able to fix the problem.

ANYONE ???
