Hi everyone,
I managed to crack the screen on my Acer Aspire M5-481T-6694. I watched a few videos of laptop teardowns, but I don't see anything specific to this model. Also, I went looking for replacement screens and I cannot seem to find them.
Does anyone know where I can find the repair manuals and a source for a replacement screen?

Hello well your not alone... The tear down for this screen is VERY simple and you don't have sticky tape or stuff like that to worry about... I took my screen out in literally 5 mins... As for finding the screen I have not had any luck either ... Acer wants to rob me of $265.00 to replace it but I have a feeling that they are going to find it hard also to get this screen... I also have a Acer Aspire M5-481T-6694, the screen part is made by LG and is LP140WH7-TSA1 or STA1 or something like that... its finding a supplier that has it in stock is the problem as I have sent money to 3 different suppliers saying they have it but then I get a email saying they are refunding my money because they do not have it in stock... If you find one PLEASE post it here so others like us can get one... I'll do the same if I can find it... Oh btw Acer gave me a list of 4 suppliers and NONE have it... Truman

If you are right about the display number, check on here and select the company that has a minimum order quantity of 1. you can contact those for any further question.
How did you figure out the actual manufacturer part number? What a brilliant piece of detective work!
Should be noted on the back of your LCD panel once you remove it...
I still haven't found this screen.
I'm never buying an Acer again, this is ridiculous.
