Red light of death

The PS3 slim shouldn't have gotten RLOD as Sony fixed the issue after the first PS3 model. With that being said there is no fix for RLOD on a slim, the only thing you can do is try looking for a fix online or send it in to a professional. If you still have a warranty with Sony you could send it to them. Sorry to hear your bad news I too had RLOD but on the first PS3 Model which when sent to a pro was still unfix-able. I had replaced it with the new model because Sony had fixed RLOD on it. Good Luck on finding a repair.
