iPod classic 160g model #A1238 silver and I want to hard reset
I recently bought an iPod classic 160g model #a1238 from the swap meet and want to hard reset the unit to make it mine how do I do that?

All you would have to do is to restore it in iTunes. If it still gets recognized by iTunes when you plug it into your computer, it should ask you if you wanted to do a restore. Answer yes and it should set it up for you. Hope this helps, good luck.

To do a hard reset you toggle the lock button off then on then off press and hold center button on wheel while doing this then volume either up or down
