I was using my laptop and it was fine. Next time that I came back the video was looping at a high refresh rate. I am thinking that the video cable is just loose. Anything else that it might be? Ordered the 5 star tool to open it up.

If an External monitor is fine you're on the right track. If an external monitors shows the same behavior - no then it's VGU/VGC.

I ordered the thunderbolt adapter to check the external. I will let you know. Thanks
