Exchange upper lid/display, compatibility with other models
Hello everybody,
I do have the same issue as we have here:
Display Case housing manufacter #
The display is not tightly attached to the lid anymore.
Now my local Apple store will charge me around 600 € for replacing the whole display, no goodwill.
Not gonna happen.
Now I was thinking about buying a broken mac on ebay, but I am not sure which lids are compatible?!
