My tablet is locked, cant unlock. what can I do.
My nexus 7 tablet is locked. cant unlock it. There is an arrow at the bottom od the screen. Never seen it before. What is wrong?

You can try using Wugfresh Nexus Toolkit. It's an automated tool fixing stuff for Nexus devices, starting with the Galaxy Nexus.
However, be warned that unlocking your Nexus device will wipe its contents: like you did a factory reset.

My Nexus 7 first gen also went dead the other day. I think the memory is dead. I have tried everything possible to make a recovery and it's dead. Apparently, you have to change the mainboard to get some good memory chips.
