I dropped camara while on and now the lens are jammed.
The lens move only 1/16". Can I get inside the lens to unjam it? The camera is a SL40

dave, this is a bit tedious but doable. I posted the disassembly for the lens itself. Let me know if you need to know how to get to the lens itself.
16. Disassemble the BARREL ASSY PCB from the connector,
remove the battery connector soldering, q unscrew CCD
PCB screws and 1unscrew 1 screw from the 1 Main
Board.
17. Disassemble 2 Main Board.
18. Disassemble 3 IR Cut Filter Cushion.
19. Disassemble 4' IR Cut Filter.
1. Remove the soldering of the shutter PCB.
2. Unscrew 3 screws.
3. Lift the LENS BASE ASSY and the ZOOM position sensor part.
4. Unscrew 1 screw from the ZOOM gear box.
5. Unscrew 1 screw fron the front side of the ZOOM gear box.
6. Completely disassemble the LENS BASE ASSY.
7. Unscrew the fixating screw of the shutter PCB.
8. Disassemble the OUTER GUIDE BARREL based on the blue part as shown in the picture.
9. Disassemble the OUTER GUIDE BARREL based on the blue part as shown in the picture.
10. Disassemble the OUTER GUIDE BARREL.
11. Disassemble the INNER CAM BARREL ASSY based on the blue part as shown in the picture.
12. Disassemble the INNER CAM BARREL ASSY based on the blue part as shown in the picture.
13. Disassemble the LENS CAP ASSY based on the blue part as shown in the picture.
14. Disassemble the LENS CAP ASSY.
15. Disassemble the SHUTTER ASSY based on the blue part as shown in the picture.
16. Disassemble the SHUTTER ASSY.
