Wont power on after hard drive install
Greetings,
My name is Joey and I recently changed the hard drive on my macbook pro. The only problem is that now my macbook wont power on. When connect it to the charger it shows that it still charges. Also when I push the button on the front left side the little green lights show the battery still has power. I followed the steps in the guide you guys provided. I installed a Western Digital 500 GB, 5400 rpm, SATA 3Gb/s, 8 Mb/Mo Cache, 2.5" hard drive. My only concern is that when I opened up the laptop, I used a compressed air can to blow of some the dust inside. When i did that the fan began to spin. The fan doesn't seem to be damaged as it wont budge from it equilibrium position. Please help me figure out what is going on. I'm thinking of changing the hard drive back to the old one in case it's the new hard drive or is there something else I should do when intalling a new hard drive? Is this normal? I appreciate your time and help with this. This laptop is extremely important to me, as I use it for school. Once again, thanks for your help.
