Not powering up, no power light coming on, no spinning drives

My 17" iMac 1.83 GHz Core Duo or 1.83, 2, or 2.16 GHz Core 2 Duo (EMC 2104/2110/2114/2124), would not start up after shutting it off one night. I checked the power outlet to make sure that wasn't the issue. I checked the power cord, by using another which I knew works, no luck. No power on light comes on, no spinning hard drive noise, power button doesn't feel like it clicks - just kinda feels dead.

I am hoping that it is the power button or a connection that is loose, not the power supply. Thankfully the iFixIt store has the power supply and many other supplies I may need.

Will update when the kids aren't around for an afternoon so I can pull it apart without fear of the parts not going missing.

Suggestions are very welcome! Haven't pulled apart a Mac before because mine have been so rock-steady (until now). :(
