Where can I get a Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 Replacement Screen?
Does anyone know where a Kindle Fire HDX 8.9" screen can be repaired? Or at least purchased to be installed at a computer repair shop?

there are 2 screens for the hdx 8.9
one has 71 pins and one has 90 pins
the best way to tell is to count them on the original screen
they are both available on ebay

The question was about an HDX. The answers pertain to an HD. Is replacing the screen the same for both the HDX and the HD?

Actually, the link I provided goes right to an HDX replacement screen.
We fix quite a few of these and they are tough to work on especially with the added pressure of using such an expensive screen. The HDX has one of the highest screen resolutions you can get and that makes the part cost alone over $150. I only know of one distributor in China and we communicate through email.
Hi there, I'm trying to find a replacement screen for my Kindle HDX 8.9 Tablet Wifi, it has 4G LTE and 32GB.. I took it to a repair shop and we thought he saiD that if I could order a replacement screen then he would fix it.. I searched online and ahowed him the results.. He picked out one that looked right so I ordered it, but when he removed the original screen we found that the one I ordered wasn't the right fit.. If it helps at all, I have a photograph of the broken screen and it shows the part numer B4922G12 on the back.. It also has a sticker in the lower right hand corner that says 57000112J1, followed by W4AG16H6 followed by AJL10132GB.. I would be really grateful if anyone could help me find the right screen for this..

Anyone guide me to where I can get the fixing clips/brackets for the 8.9 HDX?? Need them to fit new screen securely. Many thanks
Honestly I would recommend not fixing I had one and the screen broke and I had it fixed but after 2 weeks it quit working all together after sending it back twice the gave me a refurbished one and it works for a month and now doesnt turn on ..I dont know if you take them apart the never work right but they ended up refunding my money for the repair and I bought the hd 10...Just a thought

I realize this is 6 months after your post, but one of my kids accidentally landed on my Kindle Fire HDX 8.9" and I'm debating between being the LCD/glass replaced or just getting the HD 10. How have you liked the HD 10? Everything I'm reading says that the HDX 8.9" is still far superior so I'm curious if you noticed any discernible differences. Thanks!
I do miss my HDX 8.9 but I wen through !&&* trying to get it fixed I like the HD 10 expect the battery it doesn't last as long and make sure if you get one get a SD card for it
