How to restore a Vaio Laptop to factory settings?

Hi guys, like the title says, I have tried to restore factory settings on a Sony Laptop with everything I have been able to find online, but nothing works!!! I tried F10, F8, I even created a Bootable USB Drive and nothing works! I do not have the recovery disc, I'm trying to help a coworker since this was suppose to be an easy fix, take it back to factory settings, star fresh from 0, but nop, I haven't been able to get it!

Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit

Any help will be DEEPLY welcome!

My laptop has also a problem, i cannot restore the factory setting, it has an error message

diazedwin, not quite sure what does and does not work for you. I would suggest you start with what Sony Suggest on here. Try it so that we have a common starting point and see what we can do to further assist you. Hope this helps, good luck.

If you want to install Windows without DVDs drive you need to create a Windows on usb. Here the tool you need
