Where to get good adhesive!

Hey guys so I am a tech at a small repair shop and we have been using super glue to get the screens to stay down (I know, I know) anyhow I was wondering what adhesive you guys use, we have tried the 3m precut for the outter edge and used whats left over to cut portion for the sections by the loudspeker and over the wifi cable etc. and they still come up or don't seat down right.

Point being do you guys know of any stuff that is as thin as the 3m but stronger or any tips about any flaws in our process.

Con, thanks so much! The biggest problem was pulling it back up (if the digi wasn't fully connected or if they brought it back after we fixed it already. Glad to hear there is another solution!

Mark, Do you by chance have a link on where to get thtat adhesive and the brand? I have seen the 3M but there is so many different types and strengths, which one do you find works the best?

Any flaws lol super glue!! Lol

I use the precut 3m stuff and a tiny tiny bit of gorilla glue on each corner .

Now the metal frame you have to attach to the screen helps it stay down also..

Plus if you ever repair the iPod again the gorilla glue softens with heat and comes off very easy not like super glue were you have to scrap it away off frame

we use adhesive sprays to fix glasses and displays...we spread it with a small paint brush....this adhesive softens with heat too....

Odorless cyanoacrylates (super glue) have many uses. They will not cause any fogging of surrounding areas. The best (and least expensive) types are available from hobby shops. Super-Gold+ is my favorite.
