Problem with retina top layer of the LCD

Hello iFixit.

Can you help me please -- i have problem with retina screen.

A couple month ago when i cleaning mbp (with piece of cloth only) top layer of the LCD begin erased. Now i have a couple places on my screen with that problem.

I try contact with Apple Care but the told my next:

This warranty does not apply: (a) to consumable parts, such as batteries, unless failure has occurred due to a defect in materials or workmanship; (b) to cosmetic damage, including but not limited to scratches, dents and broken plastic on ports.

I am write to you because you know apple device well and maybe you can describe me what the problem i have.

Is it really cosmetic problem(like Apple says) or it is factory problem with one go the film of the LCD.

I make some photos with problem.

Can you look it, please: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/4zk3u3vf5fplk...

What do you think about that problem?

I need to try fixit with Apple Warranty, or this problem is cosmetic and the better way to "fix" it with Screen Protector (like iVisor, maybe).

Thanks you for any help and information.

If all you did is wipe the surface lightly with a soft cloth with no cleaner on it this shouldn't have happened!

To me it looks like the screen is scratched did something get between the lid and the keyboard while the system was closed?

If your sure you don't have any scratches I would bring the system to an Apple Store and let them see it. Good Luck
