Squash Damaged MacBook - Need Data Recovering
Hello everyone,
Last week i split a very small amount of squash on my mbp 13'' retina which was purchased this year in march from pc world. The mbp was turned on while i split the drink and then turned itself off. I have tried to dry it out over the last 72 hours and have reset the smc but still does not power on. The power charger indicates the mbp is receiving a charge by way of the orange light on power cable display. Over the next few days i'm opening the mbp to take a look inside and possibly clean up any leftovers.
I wanted to know if the flash storage data is recoverable, i have quite a large number of photos which i 'hope' to recover. Is there some way to take the flash storage out and transfer onto another computer? I know for windows sata drives you could buy a certain piece of hardware from pc world where you take the drive from the pc and plug into the hardware making a separate external to access the data. I know OWC has a type of external drive you could put the flash storage SSD but i know it does not make it for this latest macbook pro retina version - Late 2013.
Any help appreciated here, thanks.
