1 Black and red lines down iMac screen after connecting LVCD & VSYNC
so after swapping out the HD with a SDD - i connected the LVCD and VSYNC cable back up. But one problem the monitor displays a thick black line with a red line down the screen. If this is any useful - i took a screen shot but did not see it on the image. I guess i need to know whether to get new cables, buy a new screen, ect. Thank guys. looking forward to the help. I can provide images if that'll help.

Did anyone get this resolved? I also just replaced my HD and now have a 1" black bar on the screen.

I have the same problem I used the pizza cutter wheel sold by ifixit and now I have 2 black bars. I'm not sure which cables to replace
