Did something get spilled into the keyboard?
To check try using a USB or Bluetooth keyboard. Do they work correctly? If they do the built in keyboard is damaged.
Sadly, it's a very big job to replace, as you'll need to replace the full upper cover assembly. While some have managed to take the keyboard out (50+ screws or snap rivets) it just makes better sense replacing the whole assembly.
