Sound lower button does not work & stuck on safe mode?

Hi,

Dropped my phone in water and instantly picked it out and dried. It is working fine but the sound down button on the side is permanently on resulting in the phone being constantly in safe mode whether I restart / untick fast boot.... can anyone tell me how to fix the sound down button?

You will probably want to dismantle it and ensure it's dry inside. The button itself may be jammed, or the microswitch is jammed in the shorted (on) position. See if the problem persists with the case off and the physical button no longer contacting the microswitch.
