MacBook Air A1465 Display Replacement

Hi there,

I have the MacBook Air 11in A1465. Bought a few weeks back. I've damaged the display by denting the upper case. A thin 2in dent near the glowing apple. This has not cracked the glass but has damaged the LCD/or one of the back layers. I am thinking I need to replace the entire display and will not get away with just the LCD for this kind of damage, but wanted to seek out opinions first. I can send pictures if that helps.

Yes that guide will work for you, just be careful disconnecting the LVDS connector and with the straps that hold in the airport antenna cables, they can tear very easily. When reassembling make sure the antenna cables are flush inside and just under the logic board, if they aren't you will have trouble getting the display to fit in properly.

I have LCD issue for the same macbook air, how much does it cost to buy a new one? I called Apple and they are saying they are out of stock for the same, any other source to buy from? Thanks
