How to fix broken LVDS video connector? iMac 2010

Hello one and all, I just tried to install an SSD in my optical drive tonight. I just ended up ripping the LVDS video connector on the main Logic Board. I ended up losing one of the pins as can be seen in the photo. My question is how screwed am I and what should I be looking into fix it? I have a few friends who are comfortable with soldering. I just need some opinions.

Thanks in advance!

Soldering computer components is not like soldering lamp cords or speakers. If your friends regularly work on computers small electronics they are qualified. If not too much heat will destroy the logic board.

If your friends are not qualified a small electronics/computer repair shop may be able to help you. They may have, or have access to, the replacement connector, otherwise you'd have to obtain one by de-soldering a good one from an otherwise dead board (found on e-bay)

me, just like machead3 stated, this is not an easy repair, but it can be done. I'd suggest to replace the connector (easier said than done, hard to find). The connector is a 20389-Y30E-01 and I believe this is compatible, but you do want to double check.
