when u open the screen to watch a movie look at the other side and look up behind the screen there are 2 Phillips head screws on either end of the corners up there u take out and the dvd player falls down but be careful to go slowly and support it or it will fall down and pull the wires out of connector.

When you say pulled out of the connector, do you mean that it pulled out of the DVD unit, or it pulled out from the connector in the ceiling?
