Higher resolution monitor on Acer Aspire V5-571P laptop?

Hi

I have replace my cracked screen/digitizer with the exact same model number except the resolution size is different. My original pc screen/digitizer had a resolution of 1024x768 and new one has 1366x768.

I have tried changing screen resolution to match but part of my screen is still black. I have updated drivers and tried to find alternative monitor.inf files that match but still the same.

My graphics card is intelHD4000,I know it is capable of 1600x1200 but I think it may be preset by manufacturer.

Or do I have a monitor driver issue that does not recognize a new screen with higher resolution settings?
