New ssd and osx install failure

Hi guys,

My question is i bought a new SSD in my iMac but when i want to install OSX just wait and i got a message to please restart because the install not completed. After that i tried to reinstall with the internet recovery but when finish a get the folder with the question mark on the startup.

Know someone what is the problem?

I need set up something in terminal before i try to use SSD?

The SSD is Samsung 840 Evo.

Thanks for everyone.

Hopefully you still have your HD installed into the system - Correct? If that is correct your HD is catching the reboot so the installer is not able to finish.

This is were the utility DiskMaker X is needed. In this case you are prepping up your SSD externally via a USB port using the universal SATA adapter cable.
