Dear Ifixit:
This is amazing, I did step by step and took all the computer apart but I do not seem to find the issue. I don't know if it's the actual inverter cable or the little board that goes at the bottom of the screen. I'll buy a new inverter and will keep you guys posted :)

For these old models I would buy the screen, the inverter, and the cable. That LCD backlight is long past its life expectancy, and it will save you the downtime of ordering later when one of the other components happens to die.
