You can run windows in a virtual machine with a program like Parallels, or use WINE to run windows software on a Mac. :)

Taylor is correct. I use Parallels 5 and I have had a pretty good experience with that software. BUt, I must mention that when you are running a virtual machine you are splitting your machine's resources between MacOSX and Windows. So if you would like to play games, I suggest you max out the RAM and get a faster HDD, in order to have enough resources to play GPU intensive games. A MacBookPro would serve this purpose better as it has faster CPU, 8GB RAM max.
Very true Majesty, as an avid gamer, I an tell you that it won't be the best playing experience, but it should get the job done. You might also look into Valve's games for Mac that are coming out - they're starting to re-do some of their code base to work on Macs.
It's worth noting that the MacBook Core 2 Duo doesn't have a dedicated video card (to my knowledge), so game will probably run really slowly. I have one of these computers, and Steam runs, but none of the games do. They say "Your video card is unsupported."
I have parallels 8 but i have a macbook not pro i just want to play my games!!!!!! buy games then parallels then windows wat happened to everything in one!

I'm surprised no one mentioned Boot Camp.
Free (comes with MacOS) . All you need is a copy of Windows, and you can dual-boot your Mac with Windows. Benefit over virtualisation is that you get 100% of your hardware performance, especially when it comes to graphic.
