1 Why does my display flash on for a second then goes black?
I have an Acer Aspire All-In-One 5600u. The screen will flash on for a second at start up. I can see the Acer logo for a split second, then it goes black. If I connect it to an external HDMI display I can see that it's still running and I can log in and use it fine. In fact if I touch the touch screen I can still control the computer, so that still works, it just won't display anything. Any ideas what part is broken so I can replace it? I haven't been able to find and tear downs of this computer online, so even that would help. I'm pretty good at repairing my own computers and have taken apart my iMac and replaced parts without trouble, but I've never done one of these. Please help!

Hey @cformulak,
Did you ever figure out how to disassemble the unit (or even just the screen)? I'd love to know what you did in the end. Need to replace the screen on one of these.
