Damaged docking port on Motherboard
Hi
I damaged the docking port on the Tablet, not the keyboard, while separating them. Is it possible to repair / replace port without renewing the motherboard.

ross orr, that connector is soldered to the logic board. It will require microsoldering equipment and skills. The other issue will be to find a proper replacement connector. Not an easy task, so you may have to consider changing the complete board. you may consider posting an image of your damaged port with your question so that we can see what you see.
